Description
Atlantis: The Lost Empire Wilhelmina Packard Character Development Concept Art by Dave Pruiksma Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 2001). From the 2001 Disney feature film Atlantis: The Lost Empire, we have in this lot a great set of development concept drawings displaying great full-figure images of the communication officer of the Ulysses, Wilhelmina Packard, done by Dave Pruiksma, the lead animator for the character. The four vertically oriented 16-field animation sheets render the character in graphite with some detail in colored pencil featuring the lovely member of the Atlantis expedition characteristically smoking in three of the drawings. Measuring about 13" tall on the four drawings, this fantastic images by the hand of the talented Dave Pruiksma on his last Disney project showcase the capability of the artist to present the character consistently from different angles. The four drawings present taped-in prints that read ""Packard" Ruff suggestions by Dave Pruiksma 11/98," with one of them also presenting a rough sketch of Wilhelmina in the top right corner.
