"The Art of Tom Gilleon" Weathervanes Park Pitch Art Painting (Landmark Entertainment, 1983). Tom Gilleon is a leading Western Art artist whose work is sold in galleries globally. His work has been awarded critical acclaim. His early work was at Disney Imagineering (WED) as a Theme Park designer. He also did work on the live-action movie Dick Tracy for Disney. He did a great deal of work on the "Big Thunder Mountain" ride in Disneyland Paris as well. His artwork of Disney Theme Park images was sold as limited edition signed prints at the Disney Gallery in Disneyland located over "Pirates of Caribbean". This is a stunning Theme Park pitch art painting for a project called "Weathervanes." It is a stunning pan Theme Park entrance where every building has a weather vane. It has a very "Disneyland Main Street" feel. It was done for a Landmark Entertainment Project dated 3/1/83. Acrylic on board of 54" x 18". Job stickers from Landmark are on the reverse. Original artwork from Tom Gilleon this early in his career is very rare. Tape along border of painting, minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
