"Goof Troop" Concept Art by Willie Ito Group of 31 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960s-70s). In celebrating 60 years of Hanna-Barbera Studios, some of the most interesting things to look into are the shows they pitched that never made it past the concept stage. This is a rare look into that part of H-B's history. This is a series of concept art/development art by famed animator Willie Ito, for a proposed parody of the F Troop TV series, to be called "Goof Troop" (this was long before Disney's Goof Troop, which began in 1992). The lot includes 31 pieces of original artwork for this pitch, along with a typed overview of the pitch and show. Art is in graphite on paper measuring 11" x 8.5", with a 16 field paper model sheet used for a cast shot. A hand-signed Letter of Authenticity from Willie Ito with original Ito artwork is included with lot. Minor handling and edge wear. A rare look into the development side of the studio. Very Good overall condition.
