Description
The Wise Little Hen Peter Pig Color Model Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1934). "Will you help me plant my corn?" "Who, me? Oh, no. I've got a bellyache." The accordion-playing Peter Pig is less than helpful in the classic theatrical short The Wise Little Hen. This is a very rare pair of hand-inked and hand-painted color model cels created for this 1934 Wilfred Jackson-directed cartoon. These images can be seen near the 1:06 mark of the short. The Wise Little Hen is perhaps most notable for introducing the beloved character Donald Duck. These delightful cels show handling and edge wear with toning and wrinkling due to age.
