The Robonic Stooges Color Model Cels Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 1977). When discussing animated superheroes, here's a trio that doesn't come to mind right away -- The Three Stooges, Moe, Larry and Curly. Their animated CBS show The Robonic Stooges, first aired on 9/10/77. In this show, the Stooges fought crime with the use of their bionic powers and are given assignments via film projector from their frustrated boss Agent 000 (pronounced "Oh-Oh-Oh") who runs the Superhero Employment Agency. This is a pair of hand-painted and trimmed Color Model cels of the Three Stooges. One is of the Stooges in their street clothes and the other is of them dressed as their Robonic alter egos! In both cels the Stooges stand approximately 5" tall. These cels were created for use in press materials such as press kits, publicity flyers, ad slicks, etc. Both are trimmed to 6" x 9" and mounted on white cardboard. The Three Stooges are quite possibly the most unique/rare superheroes ever. Condition is Fine.
