The Little Mermaid Sebastian and Ariel Color Model Cels Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1989). The Little Mermaid was the last Disney animated feature film to use hand-painted production cels. This lot is two rare one-of-a-kind hand-painted 16 field color model cels, painted by the Disney Ink and Paint Department as reference for specific scenes for this feature film project. The first is one of the single largest Sebastian cels we have seen, with a great image size of 7" x 5". It is on a print background for presentation purposes. The second cel is Ariel as human, when she has lost her voice, from the Dinner scene. Nice image, with an adorable facial expression and size of 7". That's TWO hand-painted color model cels from this Modern Classic film! Very Good condition.
