    The Jungle Book Burning Tree Color Key (Walt Disney, 1967). "FIRE! It's the only thing he's afraid of! You get the fire -- we'll do the rest!" The vultures help Mowgli save Baloo the Bear from Shere Kahn the Tiger in the finale of this classic animated Disney feature. This beautiful miniature masterpiece is an outstanding hand-painted Background Color Key of the burning tree from the dramatic sequence. This miniature masterpiece was hand-painted by Thelma Witmer (1901-1996) -- a leading background artist, and a rare leading female artist with Disney Studios from 1944-1967. Beautifully framed, with a two-layer upholstered matte (opening of 4" x 5") and overall dimensions of 11.5" x 9.5". In Fine condition.
