Description
The Flintstones "Fred's Final Fling" Fred and Wilma Color Model Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1980). "Fred's Final Fling" was an NBC cartoon prime-time special. The show was a limited revival of The Flintstones which aired on 11/7/80. When Frank Frankenstone's x-rays are mistaken for Fred Flintstone's x-rays, the doctor tells Fred he only has 24-hours to live. Bewildered at the news, Fred promises to do good deeds on his final day. After giving gifts to friends, he takes Wilma, Barney and Betty to the La Coo Coo Rocko restaurant where they dance the night away and go roller-skating. Offered in this lot is a rare production color model cel. The image shows Fred and Wilma roller skating. Hand-painted on 12 field acetate and placed on a color card for presentation. Color Model Cels were designed in animation studio production to establish the characters coloring as a permanent reference tool. Color Model cels are sometimes called color test cels. This cel has minor production handling wear. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
