    Description

The Fair-Hared Hare Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam Color Model Cel on Painted Background (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). "Good night varmint." "Uh, good night", say Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny to each other. This 1951 short had Bugs and Sam as roommates and was the first short where Sam has his red mustache for the entire show. Directed by Friz Freleng and written by Warren Foster, it was released on 4/15/51. This a one-of-a-kind 12 field, hand-painted Color Model cel inspired by this short. The cel is set on a hand-painted background and the setup was a prototype for a never produced Warner Brothers Studio Store limited edition cel. The combination of cel and background measures 10.5" x 14.5". This comes from the personal collection of a former key animation artist at Warner Brothers Studio. There is tape along the borders; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
