    Description

    The Autograph Hound Lionel Barrymore Color Model Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). This is an original color model drawing of a young Lionel Barrymore from this short centered around Donald Duck hunting down autographs of movie stars. It appears for just a split second at the 7:18 mark near the end of the short as part of a montage of celebrities expressing surprise at hearing the great Donald Duck is in their midst. This full-color drawing measures a staggering 12" tall and is rendered in graphite and colored pencil. The art includes an array of color call outs and is on 16 field 5-peghole paper with C45 written in the bottom right corner. A true one of a kind piece of Disney Studio artwork depicting one of Hollywood's legends. The piece shows minor handling and there are a couple of small stains in the right edge of the paper; otherwise condition is Very Good.
