    Description

    The Adventures of Gulliver Color Model Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1968). A fantastic image from this well-remembered series based on the novel by Jonathan Swift. Used as a color model and publicity image, this hand-painted cel almost exactly matches the title cel image seen in the opening of every episode. It does appear on page 150 of Ted Sennett's 1989 book The Art of Hanna-Barbera, however. It is very rare to find any animation art from this short-lived one-season series. Pictured with Gary Gulliver are the Lilliputians Eager, Bunko, Glum, and Flirtacia. The image is hand-painted on a 9.5" x 12" acetate cel and Gulliver fills the image with the Lilliputians standing 2" to 3" tall. In Fine condition.
