    Scrooge and the Golden Eggs Book Illustration Color Model Cel and Painted Background (Walt Disney/Bantam Books, 1990). A superb original hand-painted Color Model cel of Uncle Scrooge, created as a book illustration for Volume 5 of the Mickey's Young Reader's Library. The story is a retelling of the Aesop fable, "The Goose and the Golden Eggs," tailored for Uncle Scrooge. Here, Scrooge gets an idea by remembering a book. The image of Scrooge measures 7.5" tall. The "Jack and the Beanstalk" book title is on a frosted cel overlay. Total image area, including the green grass and blue sky, measures 9.5" x 10". Background is painted in gouache/watercolor on heavy art paper, which is attached to a backing board measuring 13" x 15". Some minor handing and edge wear; Very Good condition
