Rock-A-Doodle Color Model Cels Group of 16 (Don Bluth, 1991). Rock-a-Doodle is a 1991 Irish/British/American live action/animated musical comedy adventure film produced by Sullivan Bluth Studios. The film is loosely based on Edmond Rostand's comedy Chantecler. Disney had tried to make this story into an animated feature film for years. The cels include Chanticleer, Patou (basset hound), Peppers (mouse), Goldie (pheasant), Edmund (little boy), Hunch, Grand Duke (owl), and Snipes (magpie).
