Road Runner Color Model Cel (Warner Brothers, c. 1970s/80s). June Foray began ASIFA Hollywood cel sales for fundraising in the 1970s. She would call on all the studios to donate animation cels and art for the purpose of raising funds for ASIFA Hollywood. This is a very rare hand-painted color model cel of the Road Runner in mid-running form. You can almost hear this cel go "BEEP BEEP!" It was donated by Chuck Jones Enterprises for the fundraising effort. Great full-figure running image, with a size of 8". Bottom border of cel is marked RR7. The cel is still in its original ASIFA Hollywood mat of 14" x 11" with a mat opening of 9" x 7.5". The little blue ASIFA Hollywood COA is still with the piece as well. By the way, "ASIFA" stands for "International Animated Film Society." Minor handling wear. Condition is Very Good.
