Pluto's Christmas Tree Dale and Pluto Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1952). When Mickey Mouse chops down a tree in the woods at Christmas time, he takes it home without realizing Chip and Dale are also in the tree, tagging along. Pluto finds them though! Here's an original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field 3-peghole color model cel from this Jack Hannah-directed short that hit theaters on 11/21/1952. In the cel, Pluto sniffs out Dale, who winds up on his nose! A fun image, which can be seen in the short at the 3:39 mark. Image size measures 6.5" x 7.75". The cel is noted as 2436 (the production number) and Sc. 40 in the lower edge. Pluto's black ears show some minor ink flaking, something that appears to be easily repaired. Good condition. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.
