Pete's Dragon/The Sword in the Stone Elliot Color Model Test Cels Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1977/1963). This is one of the most unusual and fun lots we have seen. In the early development of Elliot in Pete's Dragon, actual animation drawings of Madam Mim as a dragon from the 1963 animated feature film The Sword in the Stone were pulled to make Color Model test cels. This is a series of four of these Color Model test cels. All are hand-painted on 16 field cels. The sequence displays Elliot/Mim at 7" and 8". This is very early development work of Elliot, who was created by Disney Legend Inductee Mr. Ken Anderson. The four in sequence have numbers in bottom right corner of 74, 79, 86, and 88. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.
