One Hundred and One Dalmatians Roger Color Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1961). A superb color model drawing from One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The drawing features Roger Radcliff (or Roger Dearly in the original book, live-action version and TV series), the husband of Anita and owner, best friend, and "pet" to Pongo. In visual arts, a color model sheet is a studio document used to help standardize the color, appearance, poses, and gestures of a character. Model sheets are also used as a reference guide for ink and paint as well as consumer products. This is a nice large image of Roger measuring a whopping 10". Rendered in graphite with color pencil on 16 field animation paper. Studio stamp in lower right indicates Production Number 2110, Sequence 7. Scene 9. Color models are highly sought after by discerning collectors of animation art. We love this one! Edge wear with age-related toning. Overall condition is Good.
