    Description

Mickey's Service Station Peg Leg Pete Color Model Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). Pete's car engine rebels against him after Mickey, Donald, and Pluto do their damage, in this hysterical original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing, which served as a color model for the engine. The short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen for a 3/16/35 release; it marked the first teaming of the three main stars. Villain Pete is drawn in graphite, measuring about 5.25" x 3", while the car engine is in graphite with nice yellow, red, blue, and green highlights; it measures about 3" x 3". The number 53 is written in the upper right corner. Minor handling wear; Fine condition.
