Mickey's Service Station Peg-Leg Pete Color Model Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). Pete gets chased by the engine from his own car in these original color model drawings from the Ben Sharpsteen-directed short that was first released on 3/16/35. This was Sharpsteen's first cartoon with Mickey and the gang; previously, he had directed only Silly Symphony shorts. The art is in graphite and color pencil. Pete and his effects almost fill the 12 field 2-peghole page numbered 157, and the scene measures about 8" x 5" (counting the engine) on the one numbered 52. Minor paper toning and edge wear; otherwise, the condition is Fine. From the Eric Sack Collection.
