Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty Maleficent and Dragon Concept Paintings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1959). "Now shall you deal with me, Oh prince and all the powers of hell!" says Maleficent as she prepares to transform herself into the dragon. This lot has two original Eyvind Earle Color Key/concept art paintings from a key scene in the climactic conclusion of this classic Disney film. Both are painted in gouache on board measuring 15" x 6". One showcases Maleficent spreading her arms as she begins her transformation. The second painting shows the emerging dragon. It's a perfectly matched set of paintings from the early developmental stage of this epic film and unmistakably the work of the work of Disney Legend Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). Both show handling edge wear and pinholes. Condition is Very Good.
