Dumbo Timothy Mouse Color Model Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1941). "I heard today they put her in solitary!" Timothy Mouse, from when he makes his first appearance in the film, sitting on a peanut shell. The 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings are produced in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights. One layer has Timothy on it, the other has the peanut shells. He sits a nice 5" tall. I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
