    Description

    Dumbo Pink Elephants on Parade Color Model Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1941). Parading Pink Pachyderms! The most magnificently animated scene in Dumbo has to be the Pink Elephant sequence or the "Elephants on Parade" segment. Some of the most innovative animation ever seen at the time was in this scene. This is a set of three 16 field 5-peghole color model drawings of the Pink Elephants while they were marching. Each one is stamped "Color Model - Return to Color Department", and each one has a film production stamp in bottom right corner that is completely filled out. The sheets have multiple Elephants on them... one has 12 of them on it! Produced in graphite with blue and red highlights, with color call-out notes, there are amazing images of 2" to 8". These are some of the rarest Dumbo artwork we have come across. There is minor handling and tanning, otherwise in Fine condition. From the Elmer Plummer Archives.
