    Description

Dumbo Clown Production/Color Model Drawings Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1941). Clowns these days seem to have gotten a bad reputation as "scary" (thank you very much, Stephen King!), but in Dumbo's time, they were simply funny, and kids of all ages loved them and their amusing antics. Here are five delightful pages of the circus clowns seen in Dumbo that might just tickle your funny bone! All are on 12 field 5-peghole paper, and have studio stamps noting the production number as 2006; two are also stamped as Color Model. Art is in graphite, all but one with additional blue and red pencil highlights. Overall condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear. From the Robert Forbes Collection.
