Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch Color Model Cel with Dr. Seuss and Chuck Jones Autographs (MGM, 1966). A truly magnificent Grinch! This is a rare ink and paint color model cel of the Grinch, used for animator's reference. The 12 field hand-painted cel features a huge 8.5" x 3.25" image of a very rare, red-eyed Grinch pondering his next Grinchy move. In a common frame with the cel is a First Day of Issue postage stamp cover from Christmas 1982 signed by Grinch creator Dr. Seuss (1904-1991) and director Chuck Jones (1912-2002). The piece is framed with two mat openings, one of 9" x 12" and 4.25" x 7.25" in a frame measuring 16.5" x 18". Condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
