Casey Bats Again Nine Daughters Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1954). "Casey's batting average didn't show a single hit... and finally Casey knew it was time to quit" -- meaning nine children, all girls! This scene showing Casey's nine daughters can be seen at the 3:48 mark. This sequel to "Casey at the Bat" from Make Mine Music (1946) was directed by Jack Kinney, with animation by Fred Moore (who passed away in 1952) and John Sibley. This is a rare color model cel of all nine of Casey's daughters, the "Caseyettes," all dressed in their (mostly) pink Sunday best. These nine daughters go on to form their own winning baseball team, with Casey as their manager. The girls all have Fred Moore "Freddie's Girl" designs. Images go from 3" - 7". This image is used in the film, but the clothing is colored differently. This is one of the only cels we have seen of all nine Caseyettes. The great Fred Moore influence makes this one charming lot. Cel is trimmed to 17" x 10" with Scene 42 inked on bottom border. Minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
