A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Color Model Cels Group of 12 (Hanna-Barbera, 1988). This series, the eighth incarnation of the franchise, and the last to be produced by Hanna-Barbera, features the Scooby-Doo gang as mystery-solving school kids. Here's a remarkable set of original hand-painted 12 field color model reference cels, each one done for a specific episode of the series. In this group are seven cels from Episode 6, "The Babysitter From Beyond": #4 Boogedy Bones, front and back views (some paint on front from contact with another cel); #9 Pop O'Connor front and back (back view only partially painted; some spots of missing paint in front view); #11 Shaggy's father and mother, both are front views; #12 Sugie, three views, but only the first is painted (some paint and line loss); #14 Shaggy and Sugie, two poses (the first unpainted); #17 Cops, two different; and #23 Scooby and Shaggy with funny faces/Daphne with Boogedy Bones mask (both images fully painted). From Episode 11, "The Story Stick" four cels: #3 Story Stick (full image of stick painted, plus smaller unpainted size comparison with Velma); #13 Misc. People in Pajamas (11 characters, including a dog, yelling out of windows, all fully painted); #15 Agency Card and Camera (with Fred) plus Scooby and Shaggy in Camp Uniform (great full-figure painted images); #28 Inflatable Phone Booth with three images, all painted. From Episode 13 "Lights... Camera... Monster" one cel: #22 Sergeant Scooby and Scooby in a Radish Costume (two full-figure painted images). Overall condition is Very Good.
