7 Up Soda Commercial Gopher Color Model Cel Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1958). Walt Disney did over 50 animated commercials for 7 Up. Many featured the cartoon rooster character Fresh Up Freddie. Several of these can be seen on YouTube. This is a pair of black and white 16 field Color Model cels of a cute gopher that starred in one of the many Disney 7 Up spots. A studio production stamp is in bottom right corner. Image sizes are 4" and 3". Very rare cels from Disney's television commercial phase in the 1950s. There is some paint cracking and missing with paint separation. Cels will need some restoration. Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.Auction Info
