Clock Cleaners Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy Title Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1937/1947). Clock Cleaners was directed by Ben Sharpsteen and released on 10/15/37. It was released two months before Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, when the studio was at its zenith of creativity. This short features a trio of stars -- Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Their voices were done by Walt Disney, Clarence Nash, and Pinto Colvig. This cartoon was voted #27 in Jerry Beck's book The 50 Greatest Cartoons. This is a studio hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field 5-peghole title cel, on its Key Master background. Background border notes read "Clock Cleaners BG4." This is a 2-cel setup with title and characters on separate cels. This is believed to have been done for the 12/12/47 theatrical re-release, as the original release did not use an image title cel. Tape on bottom border, otherwise Very Good condition.
