    Description

Cinderella Storybook Illustration Preliminary Drawing by Tim Hildebrandt Original Art (Random House, c.1970s). Cold-hearted Lady Tremaine orders Cinderella to scrub harder in this rare original preliminary drawing by Tim Hildebrandt (1939 - 2006). This was done for a proposed book project by the Brothers Hildebrandt (Tim and Greg) for Random House in the 1970s, but we could find no indication it was published. The Hildebrandts are well-known for their fantastic Lord of the Rings calendars, Magic: The Gathering card art, and, of course, most famous for their Star Wars poster art produced for the UK. The signed drawing is in graphite on onionskin paper, matted with an opening of 19" x 9.5", and framed with glass for an overall size of 18.75" x 15". The frame is sold as-is. Art condition is Good, with fold creases and small stains.
