Cinderella Lady Tremaine Production Cel on Key Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1950). "Cinderella! I've warned you never to interrupt..." exclaims Lady Tremaine as Cinderella delivers the invitation to the Prince's ball. This is the pivotal scene in which Cinderella's evil stepmother conspires to keep her from going to the ball and this exact image can be seen at the 28:42 mark. Presented is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of one of Disney's great Villains and the very embodiment of the phrase "Evil Stepmother". She measures 3" x 8.5" on a 16 field cel which is over its matching Key Master background. The background of the Tremaine music room is beautifully rendered in gouache on 3-peghole background board and marked 2063 SEQ 2.1 Sc 16, OK CP (layout artist Charles Philippi) along the bottom border. Production art from Cinderella is notoriously difficult to find and a one-of-a-kind Key Master setup featuring one of Disney's classic villains is an animation collectors dream. The piece shows handling and is held together with tape. Condition is Very Good.
