    Description

Chuck Jones - Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner Sketch Original Art (Warner Brothers, 1983).
"Beep Beep!" Wile E. may be ready with knife and fork, but he'll never overtake the Road Runner -- though he'll keep trying! Wile E.'s ready to pounce in this original graphite on lightweight board measuring 11" x 8.25". Nice large images, with horizontal figure sizes of 6.5" and 8". This crowd-favorite cartoon duo first appeared in the Chuck Jones-directed short Fast and Furry-ous, in 1949, with shorts being made up to 2014. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) is of course one of the most honored animators in film history, winning three Oscars and many other awards during his long career. The drawing is inscribed "For Jack / From the Road Runner, the Coyote / Chuck Jones 1983." Very minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
