Description

Charlotte's Web "I Can Talk" Production Pan Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). This film was one of Hanna-Barbera Studio's few theatrical animated feature films, an adaptation of E. B. White's book. While it debuted to modest success, the film developed such a devoted following that 20 years later it became one of the best-selling VHS tapes of 1994. It opened in New York City and featured music by the Sherman Brothers of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Jungle Book fame. This is an original one-of-a-kind hand-painted pan production background of the Arable farmyard in evening colors. The gouache on board painting measures approximately 37.25" x 10.5", and is noted as 97-4 Song "B" (the "I Can Talk!" number) in the upper right peghole margin. In Fine condition with slight handling wear.
