    Charlie Brown/Peanuts Feature Films and TV Specials Storyboard Group (Bill Melendez Studios, 1960s-2000). A nice group of 11 hand-painted storyboards and background color keys from the hand of Dean Spille, used in the making of various Charlie Brown and Peanuts feature films and specials. Each is in watercolor, graphite, and gouache, and measures 4" x 5". Included are two from Snoopy Come Home (1972), featuring Snoopy and Woodstock and a background scene; one from the 1972 Emmy Award-winning TV special A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (1973); two from It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown (1974), one of Woodstock in a tree and the other of Snoopy in a Sherlock Holmes outfit; one featuring Snoopy in Life is a Circus, Charlie Brown (1980); one of Snoopy, Woodstock, and a Christmas Tree from the ABC special I Want a Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown (2003); three from the TV special He's a Bully, Charlie Brown (2006), which was the last special to feature Bill Melendez as the voices of Snoopy and Woodstock; and one storyboard of Snoopy by his PawPet Theater on top of his dog house from an unknown special. Six of the drawings are initialed "DS" on the reverse upper right corner. All are in Fine condition.
