Charles Schulz Peanuts "The Flying Ace" Linus and Snoopy Signed Limited Edition Print #447/500 (United Feature Syndicate, 1993). In 1993, Charles Schulz created a series of watercolor illustrations of his most famous scenes from Peanuts. These were released as limited edition Fine Art lithographic prints called "The Classic Series." The editions were only 500 each, and they all sold out very quickly. This beautiful image of Snoopy as the World War I Flying Ace with Linus was the most popular and hardest to find of the first prints released. Like the others, this one was hand-signed by Charles M. Schulz (1922-2000), and was an immediate sell out. The print is on Italian watercolor paper, matted with an approximately opening size of 19" x 16", and framed with Plexiglas. Fine condition. Miss this one and you'll be saying "Rats!"
