Description

Chariots of Fur Road Runner and Coyote Production Cels Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, 1994). A pair of hand-painted 12 field production cels featuring the eternal struggle between the Road Runner (Boulevardius Burnupius) and the Coyote (Dogius Ignoramii) that are both hand-signed by director Chuck Jones (1912-2002). This was the last Road Runner/Coyote theatrical short he directed. Jones worked with Maurice Noble on this first Warner Brothers theatrical release in over 30 years. As the title would suggest, it was a parody of the movie Chariots of Fire. The cels are extravagantly matted and glass front framed together to 21" x 31". These classic poses feature Beep Beep standing 5.5" tall, while Wile E. Coyote is 4.75" tall (7" tall if you count the Bow with which is he undoubtedly going to hurt himself). Fun cels and from an important piece of animation history, each bears a WB seal on the cel and a COA on the backside of the frame. In Fine condition.
