Catfish Bend Concept Studies Original Art and Hand-Colored Prints by Ken Anderson Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1978). Among the many film projects at Walt Disney Studios were several that, for whatever reason, were never completed. Ken Anderson (1909 - 1993) headed up this one, which was to be an animated feature film based on the book by Ben Lucien Burman, about various swamp animals living among the banks of the Mississippi River. This is a pair of rare original character studies by Disney Legend Inductee (1991), Mr. Ken Anderson, of a top hat-wearing Fox named Mr. Gray. Along with the two hand-drawn pieces artwork are hand-colored copies of each one; several of these were made in different color combinations. Art is in ink and wash on one noted as "Mr. Gray" and ink on the untitled; both are on paper, measuring 8" x 6". The two prints were hand-colored with color marker, with the untitled piece now named "A Slick Red Fox" on 8.5" x 11" paper. All have tack holes and handling wear. Good to Very Good condition.
