Canine Caddy Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1941). When Mickey's ball bounces out of the hole, Pluto looks around to see if anyone is watching him help it back in! This pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings is from the short directed by Clyde Geronimi, first shown in theaters on 5/30/41. Mickey (seen at the 1:46 mark) is drawn in graphite with blue and green pencil highlights; the image measures 4.5" wide by 4.5" tall, with the number 6 written in the lower right corner. Pluto (seen at the 2:33 mark) is in graphite with red and green pencils, and an overall size of 7" wide by 4.5" tall. This drawing was adjusted during production by cutting and taping pieces together; it's marked 87AB in the lower right. Mickey is in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear, while Pluto is in Good condition, with tape yellowing.
