DescriptionBuilding a Building Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). This was the first Mickey Mouse short released in 1933. It featured Mickey and Minnie Mouse with Peg Leg Pete as the building contractor who goes after Minnie's affection, to Mickey's dismay. It all takes place on a building construction site. This is an outstanding original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey with a pile of bricks in his wheel barrow, right before he heads to the freight construction elevator. You can see this around the 1:42 mark. Art is in graphite with nice yellow pencil highlights. Overall image size is 6" x 3.5". This short was directed by David Hand and released to theaters on 1/7/33. Minor handling and edge wear; Fine condition.
