    Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales Wile E. Coyote Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1979). This is an outstanding hand-painted production cel of Wile E. Coyote from the television special, Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales. The show premiered on 11/27/79. In this piece we see Wile E. Coyote opening an Acme crate which contains one dog sled and twelve ninety-two pound dogs. The holiday special featured three new animated cartoons. They were The Fright Before Christmas, Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol and Freeze Frame. The Freeze Frame segment, was directed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). This was a Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner short. In the cartoon Wile E. reads a book "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Road Runners (But Were Afraid To Ask)." He learns that road runners do not like snow. He redirects a sign to lead the Road Runner to a snowy mountain top. The image of Wile E. Coyote and the crate measure 7". The production cel is hand-signed by the legendary director and animator, Chuck Jones. The cel is paired with a print background for presentation purposes and framed with Plexiglas in a 21" x 18" frame. A Linda Jones Enterprises seal is on the cel and a COA from Linda Jones is on the back. The mat opening measures 12" x 10". The frames is sold as-is; the artwork is in Very Good condition.
