Buckaroo Bugs Bugs Bunny and Red Hot Ryder Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1944). "Stick 'em up, or I'll blow yer brains out!" demands Bugs in this classic Bob Clampett-directed short. This cartoon was one of the rare instances where Bugs played the antagonist, portraying carrot thief The Masked Marauder. Red Hot Ryder (of Brooklyn) is sent in to arrest Bugs and restore justice to the San Fernando Alley. Here is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel from this hilarious '40s Warner Brothers short. This key scene where Bugs strips Red Hot Ryder of virtually everything he's got including his dignity can be seen at the 5:12 mark. It's an incredible production piece from an era where very little art of this quality survives today. The 75-year-old cel has a few areas with minor paint loss; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
