DescriptionBrave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Brave tailor, I appoint you Royal High Killer of the Giant." This animated adaptation of the fairy tale The Valiant Little Tailor stared Mickey and all his pals. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1939, but lost to another Disney short, Ferdinand the Bull. It's considered one of Mickey's greatest roles along with The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Steamboat Willie. This wonderful full-figure image measures approximately 3" x 5.5" with his lower extremities drawn in lightly to indicate to position of a held cel. It‘s rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole paper that is numbered 13 in the lower right corner. It's a wonderful image of the title character as he is commissioned the sum of 3 million Golden Pazoozas at the 3:26 mark. The art shows light handling and condition is Very Good.
