    Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Gosh, I don't know how to catch a giant" says a gloomy Mickey Mouse as the Brave Little Tailor. This short is thought to be one of Mickey's greatest roles. It was released on 9/29/38, and was nominated for an Academy Award the following year. It had a roster of animators on this Bill Roberts-directed short that included Fred Moore, Bill Tytla, Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, and Les Clark -- wow! Walt Disney once again provided the voice to Mickey Mouse in this short. This is an outstanding original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse, as he leaves the castle, sits down and thinks, "what did I get myself into?" You can see this Key scene at around the 4:19 mark into the short. Graphite image measures 4". Minor handling. Fine condition.
