Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and the Giant Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). A misunderstanding thrusts tailor Mickey into the role of giant killer, in this classic cartoon short directed by Bill Roberts, and released on 9/29/38. Here's an outstanding pair of original 12 field production drawings featuring Mickey and his oversized adversary. Mickey is drawn in graphite with green pencil shadow effects; he measures almost 5.5" wide on a sheet marked 36 in the lower right. The Giant, seen here wiping his mouth, is in graphite with nice red pencil highlights, and a large image size of 6.5" tall. This page is marked as #4 in the lower right. Both drawings have minor handling wear, with a slight crease on Mickey's page (well away from the image); overall Fine condition.
