Mickey, the tailor, kills "seven (flies) with one blow." Townspeople, thinking that Mickey is talking about giants, not flies, rumors spread and the King sends him out to kill one, and offers him the hand of the Princess Minnie in return. In this lot are two superb production drawings of Mickey Mouse and the King. The artwork was rendered in graphite and color pencil. Mickey measures 5.5" x 3" and is numbered 33 in the lower right. The King stands 5.25" tall with color callouts noted on the piece as well as the number 6 in the lower right. Mild age-related toning, handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
