Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse and Giant Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). An overheard comment winds up pushing mild-mannered tailor Mickey into the role of giant killer, in this classic cartoon short. It was directed by Bill Roberts, and released to theaters on 9/29/38. Here's an exceptional pair of original 12 field production drawings featuring Mickey and his oversized adversary. A prone Mickey is drawn in graphite with green pencil shadow effects and red gloves; he measures about 5.5" wide on a sheet marked 35 in the lower right. The Giant, seen here wiping his mouth, is in graphite with nice red pencil highlights, and a large image size of 6.5" tall. This page is marked 5 in the lower right. Both drawings have minor handling wear); overall Fine condition
