DescriptionBozo: The World's Most Famous Clown Tropical Forest Pan Background (Larry Harmon Pictures, c. 1960s). In what can ultimately be described as charming, here is a clean, simple and elegant hand-painted original pan production background from Bozo: The World's Most Famous Clown. With its bold colors, flat shapes, and light textures, this lovely background exemplifies the mid-century art and design of cartoons from this era. Rendered in gouache on a 10.5" x 40" background board, this landscape could easily stand alone as its own fine art piece. Background artists on the Bozo series were Venetia Epler, Gordon Epson, Art Lozzi, and Ervin Kaplan. The painting shows minor handling and edge wear, and there is a piece of tape on the bottom edge. The notation B-139+BG-8 is in the upper right corner. The condition is Good.
