    Description

Boston Quackie Porky Pig Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1957). "Friend to those who need no friends, enemy to those who have no enemies." In this parody of the fictional noir pulp hero Boston Blackie, Daffy Duck plays the title character and Porky plays Inspector Faraway. This is an original production cel of Porky from this vintage Looney Tunes short directed by Robert McKimson. The full-figure image measures 2" x 4.5" on a 12 field cel marked A45 in the lower right corner. The hand-inked hand-painted cel is over a print background for presentation purposes. Warner Brothers Studio disposed of its inventory of production art shortly after closing down it's animation department and original production cels of this quality from that era are very rare. The piece shows minor handling and the 65-year-old cel is in Very Good condition.
