Description

Bone Bandit Pluto and Gopher Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1948). When Pluto decides to dig up one of his buried bones, he discovers a gopher has gotten into the garden, and is using them to prop up his underground passages. That's the story in this Charles Nichols-directed short, which was first shown in theaters on 4/30/48. Here's a fun sequence of three original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings of the scene where Pluto is underground in the gopher's tunnel, trying his best to wrestle away a bone from this pesky critter. The drawings can be seen around or near the 5:51 mark. Art is in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights. The drawings are noted as 36, 57, and 111 in the bottom right of each piece. In Very Good condition.
