Description

Boat Builders Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). Best viewed vertically instead of horizontally. Mickey, Donald and Goofy collaborate on building a boat that ends up falling apart at the seams upon its christening ceremony in this Ben Sharpsteen-directed short. Even though the instructions indicate "all you do is put it together", "even a child can do it" apparently building a boat is more complicated. This short subject film, Boat Builders, was released into theatres on 2/25/38 and featured the voice talents of Walt Disney himself as Mickey Mouse and Clarence Nash as Donald Duck. Rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. Mild handling and edge wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
