Bill Plympton "Heard 'Em Say" Kanye West Music Video Animation Drawings Group of 5 (Sony, 2005). "Uh, and I heard 'em say, nothin's ever promised tomorrow today." The music video for Kanye West's hit single featured footage of Kanye and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine interspersed with animation by Bill Plympton. The four minute black and white video is a true testament to what can be achieved with little more than paper and pencil. Presented are five original animation drawings by Bill Plympton that were filmed in the making of this video. All are rendered in graphite on 12 field 3-peghole paper and signed by the artist in the lower right corner. This is an extraordinarily rare collection of original art featuring one of Hip-Hop's greats by one of animation's greats. All drawings show handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good. From the Bill Plympton Archives.
